Early-age effect of corn cob ash as a partial replacement for Portland cement in concrete

One of the effects supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) in concrete is dilution effect which as a result partially replacing Portland cement with SCMs. The corn cob ash (CCA) respect to strength gain and transport properties focus this study. 100 mm cubes were prepared at 15% 30% using w/b ratio 0.4 0.6. CCA replacement level on compressive development between 3 28 days, days curing was done. This compared fly same 100% content. results showed that decreases increasing content increases age. more pronounced two levels than marginal or loss w/c corresponding each ratio. oxygen permeability index obtained for lower PC Also, water sorptivity chloride conductivity higher
